New To Calvary Chapel Fluvanna?

Welcome! We are glad you're here!

A Quick History

Calvary Chapel Fluvanna began in 2003 with two families meeting in a living room. The initial "living room" prayer meeting led to a weekly verse-by-verse bible study and eventually to a fellowship as other families joined in.

Since that time, the fellowship has continued to grow spiritually and numerically. Motivated by the same call now as then, our passion is to see people born again in the Lord, grown by the Word and filled with the Spirit. We desire to see every believer glorify God by dying to self, serving Him and loving others.

What's a Typical Sunday Like?

Since we meet in a school on Sunday mornings, people often ask "What's a typical Sunday like?". Well as it has been said, a picture is worth a thousand words so we put together the above video outlining a typical Sunday in the life of Calvary Chapel Fluvanna to put an answer to that question.

About the Calvary Chapel Movement

Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational church movement focused on the inerrancy of the Bible and the expository teaching from Genesis to Revelation.

Pastor's Blog

  • From Sister "T", a worker our church supports in Vietnam:

    Dear Calvary Chapel Fluvanna,

I live with my old mother. I thank God that He has given me good health. It is my joy to offer myself in service to God. I serve Him and I take care of my mother.

We hold worship services on Sunday, Bible study on Wednesday and prayer service on Friday. I go to visit believers, some are sick ...

  • Calvary Chapel Fluvanna sponsors several Christian workers including evangelists and pastors in countries where Christians are regularly persecuted.  Here is a photo and letter we just received from a young man in Sudan whom we have been sponsoring for several years.  I have edited out names and blocked the faces in the photo for their security.

I was born in 1988 and got married in 2006 and God bless us with one baby boy ...
