• Steve Feden - Senior Pastor

   

  “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”
  Colossians 4:17

  Pastor Steve has been the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Fluvanna since the fellowship began in 2003. He came into ministry after working as a horseshoer (farrier) for 13 years.

  Through the influence of CSN radio and the various Calvary pastors who have radio ministries, Pastor Steve began to recognize a calling in his own life.

  After attending Calvary Chapel Charlottesville and assisting with their 2-3 year old Sunday school, Pastor Steve started Calvary Chapel Fluvanna. Steve lives in Fluvanna County with his wife, Helga, and two children, Jacob and Madeline.

• Phil Estes - Praise Team Leader & Elder

  

  After quietly waiting and worshiping with the Calvary Chapel Fluvanna family, Phil was called to step into the role of music leadership.

  He is first and foremost a man who loves God and is personally submitted to Him. His leadership of the music team stems from that.

  He has been blessed with a Godly wife and a "quiver full" of children (5 to be exact).

• Walter Maeder - Elder

  

  Walter and his wife Anita, originally from Switzerland, began attending Calvary Chapel Fluvanna while meeting in the Palmyra Elementary School. They both felt that this was a fellowship through which God could use them to reach those in their community.

  It is clear that God had a purpose in bringing Walter to Calvary Chapel Fluvanna. God has used him in so many ways, from administrative work and leading home bible studies to disciplining others and counseling. Walter's wife, Anita, grew up with 16 brothers and sisters (no, not a type-o). She has blessed us by overseeing the nursery.

• Brad Halfacre - Elder

  

  Brad and his wife Stephanie were the third family to participate in the planting of Calvary Chapel Fluvanna. Brad is loyal to the Lord and to the fellowship. He is the embodiment of a servant and will assist in any area he is capable.....which is almost any area.

  Brad loves to teach the Word and helps out with Wed night Bible study.

  He and his wife Stephanie have 4 children and live at Lake Monticello.

• James Winsett - Deacon

  

  James is a true deacon! When the elders have a need in any area, James is there to get it done. He is retired from work as a foreman in nuclear power plants and has been serving the Lord and the Calvary Chapel Fluvanna fellowship by planning, fixing, building, rigging, and solving any problem we face.

  All this and teaches the children too. He has been an amazing asset and a gift from God!

• Mike Shields - Deacon

  

  Mike and his wife Susan were two of the first to be baptized at Calvary Chapel Fluvanna.

  They have three children; Cameron and Faith and their third child Brody. Mike is a dedicated husband, father and Deacon. He loves the Lord and continues to lead his family in a closer walk with Jesus.

• Bill Allbritten - Deacon

  

  Bill and his wife Dorothy came to Calvary Chapel Fluvanna from a large Northern Virginia church not knowing what to expect in Fluvanna. “We are thankful that the Lord led us to CCF. After our first visit we stayed, knowing this is where we should be.”

  Bill brought his experience in financial services to serve the Lord as our volunteer church accountant. Dorothy is involved in the prayer chain and teaching.

• Kae Winsett - Office Manager

  

  Kae has been working in the Calvary Chapel Fluvanna office as a volunteer since 2005. In 2008 she came to work for the Calvary Chapel Fluvanna family as our office manager.
